Michigan Monday! Thanks to everyone who came out for our contest at
Drake Park yesterday. We had a great turnout and had an all around good time.
Props to Zack Brendel (Beginner), i cannot remember who won Intermediate, and
Joe Krok who won advanced.

Get Hyped! We got picked for this DVS contest! They hand-picked 100
shops in the country. The contest runs through the end of the year so we've
still got time to stock footage for this thing. Hopefully we can represent Michigan
and make it to the finals! Stay tuned...

Skate Jam this Saturday in Port Huron. Mike Garza and crew will be
up at Pine Grove Park all day skating and they want you to come shred with them.
Pine Grove is a seriously-rad skate spot so it'll be worth the drive. Call PLUS
for details.
If you can't make it to Port Huron, there is a best trick contest at Meijer
Park on Saturday. $500 for best trick on the hubba and stairs. After all that,
come up to PLUS and take advantage of the back to school sale!

Dispite some crazy weather yesterday, our 4th Annual Ledge Game of
S.K.A.T.E. went off succussfully. Thank you to everyone who showed up and shredded
and had fun with us. I'd say there was probably 100 people skating and 38 people
entered the contest. Check the official bracket here:

I just realized I've been skating for 20 years. I'm pretty sure I got my first
real board (Vision Psycho Stick) in 1988. I'm proud of that. 20 years deep.

Holy Fourstar! We just got our Back to School shipment of all new Fourstar
tees, sweaters, cords, jeans, backpacks, hats, coolers, and more! I didn't get
a ton of each size, so get in here quick 'cause this stuff won't be here for
long.
SKATE JAM and Ledge G.O.S. this Sunday! Most likely at the same tennis courts
we always have it just to make it easy and since it's not a bust. Be there at
noon! Who will join the likes of Brad Hendrickson, Jennings Harper, and Sean

Eric Carlsen and I headed out to Chi-town yesterday to hook up with Jesse, Justin,
Nowacki, and Bush. We had a good time skating their spots, and got some good
footage.

July 31st. I'll give them away on Saturday during our Bachinsky party (all day

Skate Camp!
Today is GO SKATEBOARDING DAY. Who cares. Everyday is go skateboarding day.
We don't need a made up holiday to tell us when to skate. I guess it does give
everyone an excuss to have events and all that. So happy go skateboarding day.

It's pretty busy over here at PLUS as we're in the middle of our first
week of PLUS Skate Camp. It's going great. All the skaters in camp are seriously
killing it! Nothing reminds you what skateboarding is all about more than seeing
someone drop in for the first time! Thanks to REAL and everyone
at Deluxe for sponsoring camp and hooking us up!! Keep an eye on the DLX

We've gotten a ton of new shoes in the store the last few days!! Emerica
Spanky's, Reynolds 3 (green), Tope's, two new colors of the

Thrive Festival is today at the ice rink. We're doing a kickflip contest at
5pm. They've got ramps set up all day long. It's air conditioned in the ice
rink so head over there for some comfortable shredding.
If you're in Ann Arbor, and you can find The Local Chaos crew, they're BBQing
and shredding the former HVR that's now at Wes' house.

Detroit RED WINGS!!! 11 time Stanley Cup Champions. Get hyped! We should have
our special, limited edition Stanley Cup PLUS Wings tribute deck here on Friday.

like the Red Wings, it's a winner. (I know some of you might not be able to
see the picture of the deck, i'll post a pic when we get them.)

Two new PLUS decks in this week. PLUS ENEMY paying tribute to legendary
political hip hop pioneers, Public Enemy; and the PLUS Stanley Cup tribute deck.
These will be in if (we're not jinxing them) the Red Wings win the Cup.
Filming for Skateboarding Rules has been exceding my expectations as of late.
My goal is to skate as much as posible and in the process get enough footage
for a video without making any of it seem like work or anything like that. So
far it's working. Charlie Ryan continues to stack footage. Keep an eye on the
blog® for more updates.

It apears we only have two seasons in Michigan now. Summer and Winter.

As you can see from the pic's to the right, we got a new shipment of Nike SBs.
The Dunk Mid's are by far some of the best ones yet. The "Newcastles"
are straight classic. The Zoom Harbor and the Classic both come in very nice
looking colorways and skate like butter so if you need new kicks and you're
feeling the swoosh, come in now while we're stocked up.
Everyone on the team is shredding and getting tricks for Skateboarding Rules.
Props to all of them for killing it!
